I graduated from Texas A&M in 2016 with a degree in early childhood education! My husband and I moved away from B/CS for a couple of years, but now we are back and so thankful to be part of this community again.
Our first son was born in 2019 at home with a midwife. What a life-changing experience that was for us in more ways than one! It is ultimately what launched me into my full blown obsession with all things pregnancy and birth. We then had our second son at home in 2022.
I believe birth is a physiological process and that women’s bodies were designed by God to give birth. I believe women and their partners should be empowered, educated, and informed so they can advocate for themselves throughout pregnancy and in the birthing process. I believe women should be able to give birth wherever and however they want to (and of course whenever their body/baby say it’s time). I believe birthing a child is a marking and transformative event in a woman’s life and should therefore be remembered as a positive and celebratory experience. I look forward to serving you and your family during such a special season of life.
